Welcome to pdf.sh. By using our website and tools, you agree to these terms.

1. Service Description

pdf.sh provides browser-based PDF tools for compression, merging, splitting, rotation, conversion, watermarking, and visual signing.

Digitally Sign, Protect PDF, and Office to PDF are paused and shown as coming back later while they are rebuilt for the approved platform stack.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to use pdf.sh only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • Use the service for any illegal activity
  • Process documents you do not have rights to modify
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems
  • Use the service to distribute malware or malicious files

3. Your Files and Content

You retain all rights to files you process through pdf.sh. We do not claim ownership or rights to your content.

Live tools process files locally in your browser. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to process any files you use.

4. Accounts

The current app has no account system. Browser-only tools are available without signing in.

5. Intellectual Property

The pdf.sh website, including its design, code, and branding, is protected by intellectual property laws.

pdf.sh uses open-source software including Ghostscript, pdf-lib, and PDF.js. These components are subject to their respective licenses.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

pdf.sh is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.
