About PDF Password Protection

Add password protection to your PDF files. Encrypt PDFs with strong security. Set open and permission passwords to control access.

Enter passwords: Set an open password (to view) and/or owner password (to edit/print).
Upload PDF: Drag and drop your PDF file or click to select from your device.
Encrypt PDF: Click Protect PDF to encrypt your document with the passwords.
Download protected PDF: Save your password-protected PDF to your device.

The open password is required to view the PDF. The owner password controls permissions like printing, copying, and editing.

We use 128-bit AES encryption, which is the industry standard for document security and is virtually unbreakable.
